Maxon Lift Corp. SANTA FE SPRINGS, CA -- New from Maxon Lift Corp. is the TE-33 liftgate, the latest addition to its popular Tuk-A-Way line. According to the manufacturer, it was developed to meet requests for greater platform space to accommodate consolidated palletized loads.

Engineered for optimal functionality on small and midsize trucks, the Maxon TE-33 can be fitted to vehicles with beds as low as 38". With a 3,300-lb. lifting capacity, it's offered with 48" x 24" or 52" x 84" wedge-type steel platforms to facilitate moving loads on and off. It can accommodate an optional bolt-on extension plate and a bolt-on heavy-duty step assembly.

The new Tuk-A-Way model features heavy-duty twin-cylinder actuation for reliable performance and stability. Other enhancements include automatic hydraulic locking, as well as grease fittings at all critical rotation points.

According to Maxon co-president Brent Stratton, the design objective of the TE-33 was to deliver heavy-duty capability without a heavy-duty price tag. "Our designs reflect the needs of our customers," Stratton explained. "They get all the latest innovations on a sensible budget."

The TE-33 is Maxon's third product introduction this year.
