Coca-Cola Completes Leadership Team To Support New Operating Structure

ATLANTA -- The Coca-Cola Co. has completed its senior leadership team with several appointments that will support its new operating structure announced in July. The changes will be effective Jan. 1.

The beverage giant announced in July that Ahmet Bozer, Steve Cahillane and Irial Finan will lead its three new operating businesses -- Coca-Cola International, Coca-Cola Americas and Bottling Investments Group, respectively. | SEE STORY

Building upon that management, Coca-Cola has named Alexander "Sandy" Douglas Jr., currently president of Coca-Cola North America, as global chief customer officer.

Katie Bayne, currently president of North America Sparkling Beverages, will become president of North America Brands. Brian Kelley, chief product supply officer for Coca-Cola Refreshments, advances to president and chief operating officer of Coca-Cola Refreshments.

Coca-Cola has also appointed Jose Octavio "Pacho" Reyes, president of its Latin America Group, vice-chairman of Coca-Cola Export Corp. Brian Smith, currently president of the Mexico business unit, will succeed Reyes as president of the Latin America Group.

In the Eurasia & Africa Group, Nathan Kalumbu, currently president of the Central, East and West Africa Business Unit, will become president of the Eurasia & Africa Group, succeeding Bozer.

Coca-Cola has named Dominique Reiniche, president of Europe Group, as chairman of Europe Group. James Quincey, president of the Northwest Europe and Nordics Business Unit, will become president of Europe Group, succeeding Reiniche.

The company's Pacific Group will continue to be led by its current president, Glenn Jordan. Its Bottling Investments Group will oversee the company-owned bottling operations outside of North America.
