Chuck E. Cheese's CEO Michael Magusiak To Retire

IRVING, TX -- Michael H. Magusiak, president and chief executive of CEC Entertainment Inc., parent of the Chuck. E. Cheese's pizza-arcade chain, will retire on June 2. CEC said its board will look at both internal and external candidates for a replacement.

Earlier this year, CEC Entertainment announced that it was being acquired by a private equity firm for $1.3 billion. New York City-based Apollo Global Management agreed to pay $54 a share in cash for the FEC operator. | SEE STORY

"I am very grateful and appreciative to have been a member of the Chuck E. Cheese's team for almost 27 years," Magusiak said. "I am extremely confident in both the future of Chuck E. Cheese's and in the outstanding people we have throughout our organization."

CEC Entertainment Inc. and its franchisees operate 577 Chuck E. Cheese's stores in 47 states and 10 foreign countries or territories.
