Sunny Delight CINCINNATI -- Sunny Delight Beverages Co. has joined the Cool School Café and Café Fuel loyalty programs, which reward schools for choosing beverages that meet Alliance for a Healthier Generation guidelines.

School foodservice directors and purchase decision-makers are eligible to receive point rewards when they buy Veryfine, Fruit20 and SunnyD beverages that meet the standards. They can redeem them for anything from kitchen appliances to playground equipment for their schools.

Founded in 2005 by the American Heart Association and William J. Clinton Foundation, the Alliance for a Healthier Generation worked with the American Beverage Association to create the school beverage guidelines and improve students' health by limiting the calories they consume at school.

Sunny Delight reformulated and repackaged several of its drinks to qualify under the Alliance for a Healthier Generation's nutritional guidelines for schools last year. | SEE STORY
