Sodexo Names Simon Seaton To Head Up Remote Sites

GAITHERSBURG, MD -- Sodexo has appointed Simon Seaton to the newly created position of chief operating officer for remote operations in the Gulf of Mexico and North Sea.

In Europe, Simon will supervise sites in Scotland, Norway and The Netherlands. In the U.S., he will oversee operations in the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean, California and Alaska. His assignment in both regions includes offshore installations. He is responsible for client relations, health and safety, talent management and innovation for remote sites.

Simon has more than 20 years' experience in oilfield services, from the North Sea to Nigeria He joins Sodexo from Halliburton, where he was senior director of global deepwater solutions. He is based in Houston, TX.

Sodexo is one of the largest foodservice and facility management companies in the world, with 380,000 employees serving 34,000 sites in 80 countries. Of those locations, 1,700 are remote sites across 40 countries.
