champagne vending machine LONDON -- From cupcakes to caviar, more and more delicacies are being sold through vending machines. Stepping it up a notch for the holiday season is an extravagant gold-colored champagne vending machine placed at a famous British department store.

The limited edition Moët & Chandon champagne produced especially for the high-end Selfridges store is robotically dispensed in mini bottles, each of which holds the equivalent of a glass of bubbly. The labels are embellished with Swarovski crystals.

The bottles vend for £17.99, about $25. Shoppers have to buy a token at a Selfridge register to use the machine.
