HERSHEY, PA -- Hershey Co.'s Lancaster Soft Cremes -- its first new brand in 30 years -- are now available nationwide. The soft caramel candies are offered in caramel; vanilla and caramel; and vanilla and raspberry. They come in 4-oz. and 8-oz. bags with a suggested retail price of $2.49 and $3.99, respectively.

Lancaster Soft Crèmes were inspired by similar candies that Milton Hershey made more than 120 years ago in his original candy company, Lancaster Caramel Co. The brand provided the foundation for the launch of the Hershey Co., which first produced sweet chocolate as a coating for the caramels before the iconic Hershey's milk chocolate bar was created.

The new brand will be supported by a robust integrated marketing campaign with the slogan "New Lancaster Soft Crèmes. Caramel Reimagined," including a television advertisement that began airing this month, as well as yearlong sampling.
