J&J Launches Prewrapped Mini BeneFit Bars In 3 Varieties

J&J BeneFit Minbars

PENNSAUKEN, NJ -- J&J Snack Foods has expanded its popular Readi-Bake BeneFit line by adding four individually wrapped 1.25-oz. mini-bars. They're available in cranberry orange, oatmeal spice and maple brown sugar flavors.

The chewy mini-bars, suitable for enjoyment at any time of day, are made with 51% whole grain and offer 3g. of fiber per serving. Each serving provides one "grain/bread component" under the Childhood Nutrition Program. They're said to be a good source of calcium, and contain no high-fructose corn syrup, trans fat, or artificial colors or sweeteners.

Supplied fully baked, the Mini BeneFit Bars need only be thawed and served. They feature eye-catching package graphics, and are aimed at the grab-and-go market in business dining, college and university foodservice and convenience stores.

J&J's Ready-Bake line includes the original 2.5-oz. BeneFit bar, also made with 51% whole grains and offered in oatmeal raisin, oatmeal chocolate chip, banana chocolate chunk and apple cinnamon flavors. These represent two grains/breads under the Child Nutrition Program, and have found favor as breakfast items in schools.

J&J Snack Foods offers a wide variety of snack items ranging from its signature SuperPretzel through Pretzel Fillers, two lines of churros and a wide variety of cookies to fig and fruit bars, as well as frozen beverages.
