MT. PROSPECT, IL -- Suzo-Happ Group reports that it has been named exclusive Illinois distributor and sales agent for United Coin Machine's SafeCash secured vault and payout terminal system for use with Illinois video gaming terminals.

United Coin Machine Co. (Las Vegas) operates the largest slot machine route in the Nevada gaming market, and its SafeCash system has proven its value over two decades, Suzo-Happ explained. It is designed to make cash accessible only from a gaming machine transaction. Operators benefit from high security, the elimination of coin handling, verification of payouts and fast payment transactions handled directly by the location's staff.

According to Suzo-Happ, SafeCash permits direct communication with Scientific Games' central system and works with all manufacturers' video gaming terminals; it has the only "behind-the-bar footprint" in the market. The product has been submitted to Gaming Laboratories International (Lakewood, NJ) for final approval, and will be available for testing in early July.

"Having the experience of safely and reliably dispensing millions of transactions in Nevada gives us the edge in bringing a proven product to Illinois," said United Coin Machine president Steven W. Arntzen.

"SafeCash is a practical and reliable solution for the operators within the Illinois video gaming market," added Suzo-Happ chief executive James Brendel. "The combination of United Coin's operations experience and Suzo-Happ's technical experience make a great team."

According to Grant Lincoln, owner of Safe Pay Services LLC, United Coin's distributor of the SafeCash system, "We are very excited to bring SafeCash to the Illinois market, and are extremely proud to have Suzo-Happ as the exclusive distributor and sales agent."

United Coin Co.'s SafeCash System, Safe Pay Services LLC and the Suzo-Happ Group (Happ IL Distribution Inc.) are all licensed in the state of Illinois for the video gaming terminal market, Suzo-Happ reported.

The Suzo-Happ Group was established in 2004 with the merger of Suzo International (Oud-Beijerland, The Netherlands) and Illinois-based Happ Controls. The combined organization added Advanced Electronic Systems in 2005, Starpoint Electrics in 2006 and Dynamics Chinatec in 2007. It now holds a global leadership position in the gaming and amusement components and accessories market, with 500 employees serving more than 20,000 customers through manufacturing, engineering, distribution and service capabilities in eight countries.
