bitcoin ATM ANAHEIM, CA -- A two-way bitcoin ATM has been placed the new Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) in California's Orange County. Located inside Mission Market Express in the station's Grand Foyer, ZenBox gives the station's 10,000-plus daily commuters a familiar way to acquire digital currency.

Mission Market Express was the first convenience store in California to accept bitcoin, according to ZenBox, and it is now introducing the alternative currency to a broader audience through its ATM. To further encourage adoption, the c-store will offer ARTIC customers ongoing discounts on bitcoin purchases.

"Bitcoin enthusiasts have traveled to Mission Market Express from over an hour away just to buy items with bitcoin, and now the store will benefit from one of the most highly trafficked bitcoin kiosks to date, bringing customers from well beyond Orange County, along the many railway and bus lines converging here," said Timothy Curry of ezCoinAccess, a regional ZenBox operation.

Situated between the Honda Center and Anaheim Stadium, the 67,000-sq.ft., $188 million ARTIC station provides travelers a range of transportation, dining, retail and entertainment options. It's touted as the Platinum LEED-certified, most energy-efficient transportation depot in the world.

Founded in 2014, Santa Monica, CA-based ZenBox and its partners currently have bitcoin ATMs in 18 retail locations in California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Missouri and Nevada.
