NEW YORK CITY -- Vengo Labs has expanded its partnership with Blink Fitness to bring its compact wall-mounted vending machines into the fitness chain's gyms nationwide. The slim, wall-mounted machines with touchscreen displays will be located in member locker rooms and products available will range from locks and chargers to headphones and personal care items.

By customizing products to the real-time needs of a consumer at nontraditional retail locations like a hotel, gym, workspace or college dormitory, Vengo says it "solves a pain point" for retailers trying to reach consumers directly with the products they need when they need them and compete in a crowded marketplace. Additionally, Vengo partners with media brands to provide consumers with relevant and engaging content, exclusive product offers and sampling opportunities.

"We are always looking for ways to add valuable amenities to our member experience," said Blink Fitness vice-president of operations David Collignon. "With Vengo, we are able to give our members access to the products they need, without having to take space away from the gym experience."
Vengo Labs founder and chief executive Brian Shimmerlik said that in a survey via the Vengo screens, 94% of gym members stated that Vengo makes their gym experience more convenient.
Blink Fitness and Vengo first partnered in 2017 in locations throughout New York City. Following the pilot's success, Vengo will install its machines nationwide in new and existing Blink clubs.
Founded in 2011, Blink Fitness has more than 90 locations open or in development throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California.
