USConnect Members Strategize, Share Best Practices At Winter Meeting

TAMPA, FL -- The USConnect vending operator network held its winter meeting in Tampa, FL, on Feb. 6 and 7. More than 70 industry professionals attended the event, including 23 of USConnect's affiliate operating companies and a dozen of the group's suppliers.

Meeting topics covered vending machine connectivity, social media interaction, branding, micromarkets, cashless vending, end-user promotions and national account sales. USConnect's dietitian discussed the need for continued emphasis on healthy vending and premium fresh food choices for micromarkets and dining venues.

USConnect reported that its national account sales program is rapidly expanding with the signing of three major national accounts representing over 100 facilities nationwide.

"It is so rewarding to bring all these outstanding operators together on a regular basis," said USConnect chief executive Jeff Whitacre, adding that sharing best practices is key to the long-term success for companies in the group.

USConnect, based in Greensboro, NC, said it is continuing to build out its geographical network of affiliated companies to service national accounts and rollouts of nationwide promotions through its connected network of vending machines, micromarkets and dining venues accepting the USConnect Rewards Card.
