USAT’s Maeve McKenna Duska And Amelia Powell Speak At CES Digital Money Forum, High Tech Retail Summit

LAS VEGAS  --  USA Technologies executives took part in three events discussing retail innovation during the Consumer Electronics Show, which was held from Jan. 9 to 12 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The cashless vending leader demonstrated its technology along in conjunction with Boulder, CO-based ShelfX’s unattended “smart fridge” at the Retail Innovation Lounge, located at the Las Vegas Convention Center South Hall 3, Booth 31600.

USAT senior director of marketing and strategic Development Amelia Powell participated in a panel discussion at "The Digital Money Forum 2018: Never Talk to a Human Again." The conference examined the role of money today -- from new payment systems through borderless eCommerce, to authentication systems, cryptocurrencies, artificial intelligence and the blockchain economy.
 
USAT senior vice-president of marketing and strategic development Maeve McKenna Duska was a featured speaker at CES’s "High Tech Retail Summit 2018: Experiential Shopping." The conference explored future technology in retail, from checkout counters that know what's in a shopper’s cart, through body scanners that reveal what flatters them best, to new innovative in-store technologies.

Duska will present on Jan. 11 at 1:30 p.m. at the Venetian - Level 4, Lando 4302.

McKenna Duska and Powell also participated in daily panels Jan. 9 to Jan. 11 at the Las Vegas Convention Center South Hall 3, Booth 31600. These explored how new technologies in self-serve and unattended retail demonstrate the latest in artificial intelligence and personalized self-serve retail technology.

The USAT executives also participated in the "Interactive Display Tech: Adding to the Experience" and the "Reinventing Retail: The Struggle Between the Store of the Future and the Reality of Now".
