SITTINGBOURNE, UK -- Tubz Brands reports that it is launching the popular Sqwishland U.S. toy-and-game brand in Europe. It acquired distribution rights to the line in Europe and Australia from Sqwishland developer and owner Brand Vending Products (Phoenix).

The National Bulk Vending Association has voted Sqwishland the best-selling 1" toys for the past nine years.

It is the only vending product that ties in with a gaming app. Each vending capsule contains a toy character that comes with a code for use with an interactive game to play in the virtual Sqwishland world on the app's website. Children can play games with their friends, and the more vending toys and codes they collect, the more options they can enjoy in the game.

While the Sqwishland line has been a tremendous success in the U.S., it had not previously been available in other countries. Tubz Brands secured European rights to distribute Sqwishland vending products in May, and has begun rolling out three series of Sqwishland characters in Europe.

"Sqwishland is a brand that's already established in the U.S.," said Tubz Brands sales director Simon Smith "We're lucky to have secured this deal meaning we're the first company to bring Sqwishland outside the U.S."

Tubz also is selling customized Sqwishland machines designed specifically for the products. Initial plans call for a vending price of £2 (about $2.64).

Tubz Brands is a major supplier of vending machines and products, with offices in the Netherlands and China as well as England. The company has worked with a number of well-known brands in the past, including King Digital Entertainment (Candy Crush) and Walt Disney Co. It recently acquired European and UK vending rights to King's Candy Crush. | SEE STORY
