SIOUX FALLS, SD -- The ATM Industry Association has welcomed Triton System of Delaware (Long Beach, MS) as a Platinum Sponsor of its 2019 "Withdraw Cash Wednesday" campaign. Conducted annually on the day before the Thanksgiving holiday (Nov. 27) the ATMIA promotion reminds consumers to make their lives easier by using convenient ATMs to withdraw cash for their Thanksgiving and "Black Friday" shopping needs – and every Wednesday, to be ready for weekend opportunities.

"As we celebrate our 40th year in business, we wanted to do something special to benefit the entire industry," said James Phillips, Triton executive vice-president of sales and marketing. "Sponsoring 'Withdraw Cash Wednesday' was the appropriate choice since the campaign's goals and ours are the same – to promote cash usage."

"We appreciate Triton's support for this vital national campaign," said ATMIA's chief executive Mike Lee. "Despite the decades-long push by the networks for a cashless society, cash remains the most widely used form of payment method. It's a store of value, too. It is important that we come together as an industry to educate consumers and regulators about the many benefits of cash to combat the negative press cash has received over the last few years, and to ensure that consumers have cash as a payment choice for years to come. Triton is supporting this aspect of freedom of choice for consumers and businesses, and should be applauded."

In addition to sponsoring Withdraw Cash Wednesday, Triton plans to install an Argo 15 in the ATMIA booth during the 2019 ATMIA US Conference, which is scheduled for Feb. 19 through 21 at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort (Orlando, FL).

"I encourage all ATM owners and operators, and businesses that sell products and services to the ATM industry, to stop by the Withdraw Cash Wednesday or ATMIA booth, during our upcoming conference and find out how they can support the campaign," Lee said.
