NEW YORK CITY -- TouchTunes Interactive Networks has named Phil Cohn senior vice-president of sales, a position previously held by industry veteran Dan McAllister since 2004. McAllister is transitioning into a new role, the interactive jukebox company said, and will hold the title of senior vice-president, market development advisor.

Prior to joining TouchTunes, Cohn was senior vice-president of sales and marketing of D&M Holdings Inc., which designs, manufactures and markets audio, video and other media equipment. He was also director of strategic business at Sony. At TouchTunes, he will report to chief operating officer Steve Brecher.

"We are proud to welcome Phil to our team and look forward to the contributions he will surely make in this role towards the continued growth of this company," Brecher said. "We are excited to tap the knowledge Phil has gained through his extensive experience in the sales and marketing sectors, which we know will be extremely beneficial in driving our company's current goals."

In his new market development position, McAllister will report directly to TouchTunes president and chief executive Charles Goldstuck. He will focus on helping the company identify and develop new customer opportunities in North America.

McAllister has been with the digital jukebox company since August 1997. He was one of the original team members that led TouchTunes in the coin-op music market. He advanced to vice-president of sales in March 2002, two years before his promotion to senior vice-president of sales and marketing.

"After spending the past 14 years helping to build the TouchTunes network, McAllister will be well positioned to help the company with new customer opportunities," the company said.
