PUNE, India -- New from India-based tech company TouchMagix is a compact gesture-tracking amusement device. MotionMagix projects an image onto a floor or wall with which players interact by using their hands or feet. The company has 100 games, ranging from sports themes to puzzles, loaded into the system.

TouchMagix says its new concept derives from its core business of promotional tools and ads that incorporate interactive displays. To date, the company's display technology has been used for billboards and museum displays, and in corporate showrooms and retail outlets.

The firm's first amusement package ships with a projector and a wall-mount control station for payments and game selection; it supports a redemption option. Projected images have a scalable gamut -- from 72" x 48" to 144" x 108" -- that allows MotionMagix to fit into a variety of locations.

"Our newly designed interactive projector system allows the family entertainment and arcade industry to enjoy a welcomed change to the older worn-out systems currently on the market," said TouchMagix chief executive Jayesh Kariya.

TouchMagix will debut MotionMagix at the IAAPA Attractions Expo 2016 in Orlando, FL, in booth No. 2011.
