Tom Happ, vending MOUNT PROSPECT, IL -- Tom Happ is exiting Suzo-Happ Group, a manufacturer and distributor of components for amusement, vending and gaming machines. He has worked for the parts house for 28 years, most recently as executive vice-president.

Tom's father, Frank Happ, established Happ Controls in 1986. The Suzo-Happ Group was formed in 2004 by the merger of Happ Controls and Suzo International, which was founded 60 years ago in The Netherlands. After the Suzo-Happ merger, the group expanded with the addition of Advanced Electronic Systems, Starpoint Electrics and Dynamics Chinatec. The combined organization has attained a global position in the amusement and gaming components and accessories market, serving more than 20,000 customers around the world.

"Tom is leaving to pursue other opportunities outside the amusement industry and start the next chapter of his very successful career," said Suzo-Happ chief executive James Brendel in a statement released by the company. "We wish Tom luck in his new endeavors and are truly grateful for the positive impact he has had on Suzo-Happ through all of the many positions and capacities he has served in throughout the years. Tom will be truly missed."
