MUMBAI, India -- Timezone reports that it is preparing to open six new facilities in India between now and December. The new venues incorporate the #NextGenTimezone concept, which is designed to enable guests to "relive their childhoods and make new memories." Timezone's "Play More, Win More" theme also is featured prominently.

The expansion includes opening sites in second- and third-tier cities in the Indian subcontinent. In addition to increasing geographic coverage, Timezone has been renovating many existing locations in major metropolises including Mumbai, Kolkata and Bangalore. The company also is acquiring space for a flagship facility in Mumbai's Phoenix Market city mall, which is designed to become "the most aspirational venue in the country."

Sonaal Chopra, group chief executive of The Entertainment and Education Group at Timezone, reported that the company listens closely to its guests in order to sustain ongoing evolution of the experience provided by Timezone's entertainment centers. "For our fun-loving guests in these new cities, #NextGenTimezone will be an all-new experience for them as it offers a heady mix of the highest quality of virtual reality, bowling and various other innovative social games in a modern environment," she said.

#NextGenTimezone-themed installations are equipped with the latest concepts and games including Krazee Whirl cars and the Virtual Rabbids VR simulator, where players get to experience all the motions and sensations depicted in the movie. The bowling activity features light-weight balls, innovative score charts and modern graphics and animations said to make knocking off the pins a whole lot more fun. Along with these and other games, a new, larger Prize Shop with a great variety of merchandise has also been installed in every Timezone destination.

The new Timezone venues have introduced elements crafted to fascinate not only kids, but also young adults and families. The family entertainment centers have been designed according to the company's international standards to offer an unmatched ambience. Timezone has moved to a more natural and futuristic design concept and color palette. It's reflected in the store layout and designs, where signage for the major concept zones and unique sky grid lighting enhance the entire layout and elevates the experience provided by an indoor entertainment destination.

Founded in 1978, Timezone Group has become the leading chain of family entertainment centers in the Asia Pacific region, delivering entertainment and educational concepts that provide a social experience filled with interactive games, rides, attractions and learning experiences in a safe, friendly and fun environment.
