HUDSON, WI -- Three Square Market (32M) is deploying a new software feature that allows vending operators to manage micromarket routes from their existing vending management systems. The company said the upgrade will serve end users more efficiently.

The upgrade allows operators to load their route schedules into 32M's administrative software. Using 32M's sales analytics and the operator's route schedule, 32M can automatically inform the operator of the products needed for restocking. It also assists with inventory management by incorporating route schedules to ensure operators are purchasing the right product quantities to keep their warehouses full and reducing out-of-date items.

"While this is ideal for the operator who doesn't have a VMS, it also has features that will feed data to any VMS system that ensures it merges the intelligence of both systems," said 32M chief operating officer Patrick McMullan. He added that system integration should be of critical concern to vending and micromarket operators.

Earlier this month, Hudson, WI-based 32M released a nutrition information display feature on its self-checkout kiosks. | READ MORE
