SAN DIEGO -- Generation Next Franchise Brands Inc. said Stoelting Foodservice, a division of the Vollrath Co. LLC., will provide soft-serve technology and a national service network for its Reis & Irvy's vending frozen yogurt vending machines.

Reis & Irvy's vending machines serve seven different flavors of frozen yogurt with a selection of six custom toppings all within 60 seconds. The company says the machines will soon be installed in "thousands of high foot traffic locations across the U.S., Canada, Israel and Oman."

Generation Next recently announced partnerships with Dannon YoCream for product, Flex Ltd. for manufacturing, and Pitney Bowes for logistics.

The machines will be manufactured in the United States and provided to Reis & Irvy's franchisees with the support of the Stoelting national service network. They will come with a five-year parts warranty and two-year field warranty that includes onsite labor. The machines will feature a 12-gallon hopper unit, allowing for 200-plus servings.

The machines will ship to franchisees stamped by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF), the Underwriters Laboratories (UL), and the National Automating Merchandising Association (NAMA).

Stoelting will provide its Hydra Rinse technology to standardize the cleaning and sanitizing process. The Hydra Rinse system reduces water consumption by 50% and is environmentally friendly, according to the company, reducing cleaning time by more than 50%.

In 1939, Stoelting's engineering team manufactured the first-ever soft-serve dispenser for the Home-Made Ice Cream Co., which eventually became Dairy Queen, pioneering a new market.
