Stern Pinball, Luci pinball machine MELROSE PARK, IL -- Now available from Stern Pinball Inc. is the latest in its line of popular flipper games celebrating Australia's legendary AC/DC band. The new premium version, called Luci (short for Lucifer) features all-new artwork, including the cabinet and the mini-playfield, while retaining Steve Ritchie's hit design.

Like its stablemates, the new AC/DC Luci pin game from Stern provides 12 of the band's most popular songs including "Back in Black," "Highway to Hell" and "You Shook Me All Night Long." Other features include the lower playfield and ball-shooting cannon, drop targets, a mechanized Hell's Bell and animations of the band.

Luci joins the original AC/DC model (see VT, February 2012) and the limited-edition Back in Black and Let There Be Rock versions in the Stern AC/DC line. The manufacturer's suggested retail price for the new model is $7,495.

AC/DC, which burst onto the rock music scene in 1973, has developed and retained a devoted international following in the ensuing four decades. It has sold more than 200 million albums, and is Sony BMG Music Entertainment's best-selling catalog act worldwide. Its U.S. sales of 71 million albums place it among the five top-selling bands in American music history. "Back in Black," which has sold more than 22 million copies in the United States, won Double Diamond status from the Recording Industry Association of America. It often is credited with pioneering the "heavy metal" genre, although it always has referred to its music as "rock and roll."
