MIRAMAR BEACH, FL -- The Southeastern Vending Association is finalizing plans for its 12th annual conference, themed "Igniting Team SEVA." It is scheduled for Aug. 15-17, (Tuesday-Thursday) at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa here.

SEVA comprises six state vending associations representing Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. The event is expected to attract more than 250 industry officials with over 50 operator companies represented.

SEVA 2017 will offer professional development opportunities over two mornings, afternoons filled with group activities, including golf and volleyball and evening social events.

The convention kicks off late Tuesday with an opening night party. On tap for Wednesday's evening festivities are dinner and entertainment, which SEVA organizers will announce soon. The closing night event is a sponsor showcase, where operators can meet suppliers to learn about their products and equipment.

"We are looking forward to our second year beachside at the Hilton Sandestin," said SEVA chairman Scott Plaisted of Southern Refreshment Services (Tucker, GA). "Our family-friendly event features exceptional industry updates, including vending changes and governmental affairs, all in a full-service beachfront resort."
