CHESSINGTON, England — Sega Amusements International is readying an array of eye-catching videogames for display at the upcoming Amusement Expo International. The show is set for March 27 and 28 in the Las Vegas (NV) Convention Center.

ATV Slam will be making its U.S. debut at AEI. The game simulates a quadbike all-terrain vehicle by means of a custom-developed air cylinder-based motion platform supported by console-quality graphics on a huge 47" HD screen, "air cannons" for lifelike wind effects, live face detection cameras and "rubber-banding" effects. ATV Slam invites players to race to the finish line, using boost, avoiding obstacles, drifting and performing stunts.

Among Sega favorites taking center stage in Las Vegas will be House of the Dead – Scarlet Dawn, a zombie horror game that attracts attention by its 3D molded cabinet suggesting zombies trying to escape. "Unreal Engine 4" game graphics technology brings the zombies and their environment to life in high resolution. Featuring a high-spec bass shaker, 5.1-channel surround sound, air-cannon blasters, dedicated spot LED lighting and immersive graphics on a massive 55" full-HD screen, the game is engineered to impart a "five-dimensional" full-body experience.

Aimed at family audiences is Transformers – Shadows Rising, based on the perennially popular films (the first was screened in 2007, and there now are six). Players team up with iconic transformer-robot characters Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Sideswipe to battle their way across the world and thwart the evil Megatron's plans. A brand-new Hyperenergy Tech Lever adds excitement to the gameplay. Transformers Shadows – Rising is presented in a visually striking truck-shaped cabinet with prominent chrome exhausts, a big grill and lifelike Optimus Prime figurehead that makes the game stand out in any location.

Sega will also feature its other top-performing videogames at Amusement Expo. These include Target Bravo: Operation Ghost, a high-octane action adventure game with many tactical missions for players to complete; Daytona Championship USA in standard-size cabinet; and Storm Racer in its deluxe Motion cabinet.

These and more can be experienced at Sega's booth 201 at the 2019 Amusement Expo International. Information also is available from Sega by calling (847) 364-9787, emailing to, or contacting a local authorized Sega distributor.
