CHICAGO -- Seaga Manufacturing has expanded its lineup of intelligent inventory-control vending machines with the new Garrison model for small and medium locations with limited resources and fewer employees. It's designed to provide the same level of accountability and control delivered by Seaga's SightGuard inventory-control machine while optimizing space adaptability and product accessibility for smaller sites.
"Our industrial vending line drives down inventory spending by applying engineering practices that are rational and focused on the way our customers use our products," said Seaga Manufacturing president Steve Chesney. "The Garrison embodies those practices in that it was designed to offer the same access and accountability of products vital to operations within low-volume organizations and accounts."
The machine provides 24/7 access to equipment and tools and can be configured to limit access to a specific employee or group of employees, with a precise quantity, within a specific timeframe. The machine's IoT solution enables communication between satellite machines placed tactically throughout the work environment for live tracking and accountability.
It makes use of a robust, cloud-based software package that's backed up through Amazon's encrypted data centers to ensure companies that their information is secure.
