Sacoa Spotlights Cashless Technology, Mobile Apps At 2020 EAG

LONDON, England -- Sacoa Cashless System is exhibiting its latest products in booth #736 at the upcoming Entertainment, Attractions & Gaming International Expo. The show is set for the ExCeL exhibition center here from Jan. 14 through 16.

In the spotlight at EAG will be Sacoa’s Spark payment-media reader, designed to mount onto equipment in place of a coin mech or bill validator. The compact device can read RFID and NFC cards, wristbands, tokens and key fobs; magnetic-stripe card acceptance is available as an option. It’s equipped with a 2.8” HD full-color display, enhanced by backlighting and able to show age restrictions, promotional offerings, number of tickets awarded and other information for players. It’s Universal Card Link (UCL)-compatible, and water and dust resistant in its “tap” configuration.

Also taking center stage is Sacoa’s newest kiosk, the K4, fitted with a 32” touchscreen monitor that provides a familiar interface. Its customer-facing features include buying and reloading value onto cashless payment media with cash or credit card. It can sell any combination of credits, time-play and passports and there is no restriction on the number of languages it can support. An optional second screen can be fitted for use as an advertising platform, displaying slide shows, animations and video. The kiosk’s management-facing features include detailed transaction analysis as well as full support for integration with the operator’s customer relations management software.

Rounding out Sacoa’s EAG exhibit is the company’s suite of mobile apps, designed to engage customers in online activity and to keep their accounts up to date remotely. The Sacoa Mobile App enables registered guests to check their cashless credit balances, take advantage of special promotional offers by making online credit-card purchases, and accumulate reward points. Party and event booking also can be handled remotely with a mobile device; the app enables patrons to select from multiple stores if appropriate, and to check availability, party packages, food and gifts, and everything needed to manage special-event reservations, with online payment.

Sacoa’s sales and promotional Customer Registration Management module allows guests to register their demographic information and check their cashless or card credit balances online, using their mobile devices or a web browser. When tied into the Online Sales Module, the sales and promotional module also enables patrons to make online purchases of preset amounts of recharge credit. It gives operators the ability to manage their own custom-tailored marketing campaigns by use of a newsletter email engine, which can interact with the operation’s customer database and the operator’s existing email tools, like Mailchimp and SendGrid, for massive mailing when required.
