Sacoa Displays Latest Patron Interaction Advances At 2019 EAG & VAE

  USER EXPERIENCE: On display at 2019 EAG & VAE in London are latest Sacoa developments, including the new Spark game controller (top) and Mobile App. These Sacoa Playcard extnesions enhance customer convenience and widen options for interaction.
   
LONDON -- Sacoa will exhibit its new generation of game controllers, POS kiosks, online platforms and operator management tools at the EAG and VAE here. The event, which is set for the ExCeL convention center from today through Jan. 17, will offer European visitors a first look at a number of Sacoa innovations that were previewed at the recent International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions expo in Orlando, FL.

Sacoa's new Spark is a low-cost game controller. The small-footprint reader features a 2.8" HD color display and can read RFID and NFC media  (cards, wristbands, tokens and key fobs) right out of the box; magnetic card acceptance is optional. It's adjustable to display age restrictions, promotions, tickets awarded and other user messages, and is back-lit to enhance the customer experience. Spark is fully Universal Card Link (UCL) compatible, and is water and dust resistant in its tap version.

The new Sacoa K4 kiosk provides a 32" touchscreen interface with which patrons already are familiar, offering intuitive buying and reloading, providing detailed analysis and supporting integration with customer relationship management software. The K4 enables multiple card purchases in a single transaction; purchases can be made using cash or credit cards. The software is multilingual, able to support any number of languages. The new kiosk may be used to purchase any combination of Credits, Time-Play, and Passports. Options include a second screen for use as an advertising platform to display slide shows, animations and other content.

Sacoa also will demonstrate its new Mobile App at EAG & VAE. The app allows registered guests to check their Playcard balances, accumulate reward points and use their credit cards to take advantage of special offers with their smartphones. It also can provide store details – map location, direct telephone dialing and a website link – as well as access to online party booking applications. A push-notification feature can keep customers updated with the location's latest offers and news. The app can be branded with the operation's own look feel, and is available for both Apple iOS and Android platforms.

 
VALUE ADDED: This new Sacoa K4 kiosk, with 32" touchscreen interface, offers expanded purchase options for customers and display features for locations. It's slated for display at 2019 EAG & VAE show in London.  
   
Sacoa's new Zodiac administrative console, a Sacoa Playcard-responsive multilingual system configuration tool, is web-based. It thus enables operators to configure system details through a simple web browser opened on a desktop computer, a tablet or a smartphone. Configurable items include game pricing, POS and mPOS products and buttons, product stock and security features. Its tools for system maintenance and reporting include a trouble-shooting wizard with video tutorials, a system health monitor, game controller enable/disable and access control, provision for card roaming and search as well as access to sales and collection.

Sacoa's latest mobile POS option ( M-POS) provides all the features that the desktop POS can manage, including Playcard analysis, sale and recharge and retail merchandise sales. M-POS supports credit card payment, printing and game emulation through a user-friendly interface.

Another software innovation from Sacoa increases the ease with which patrons can sign waivers. This signing capability, offered through CRM, enables registered guests to complete the task online before entering the facility, providing a faster check-in process. Signed waivers are stored online.

A new communications tool, Sacoa Dex, is a marketing mechanism that allows managers to publish content on tablets, TV monitors and LED screens in any location, inside or outside the location, quickly and simply. Benefits claimed for the new tool are segmentation of promotions by time, location or metrics, cross-selling by upselling products and enabling one- to-one communication through interactive apps.

Sacoa also will describe its updated online store, which now provides an easier way to order Sacoa equipment and parts. It permits the client to check the newest items and latest releases, follow up by tracking the progress of an order and quickly receive everything they need to avoid interruption of business.
