CHATSWOOD, NSW, Australia — Nayax Australia has been chosen by Reis & Irvy (San Deigo, CA) as the supplier of cashless payment and remote machine monitoring systems for its robotic frozen yogurt dispensing kiosks. The kiosks will be equipped with the Nayax VPOS Touch device, offering customers a wide range of payment methods for purchasing a customized frozen snack.

Nayax was selected because cashless payments are vital to the Australian market, where cash is rarely used, and contactless payment plays an important part of Australian consumers' payment experiences, the company explained With Nayax's management and telemetric capabilities, Reis & Irvy's franchisees will be able to access real-time sales reports and inventory data as well as warning alerts and loyalty reward programs.

Troy Bingham, managing director of Reis & Irvy's Australian licensor Froyo Robotics, explained that "We only work with blue chip suppliers and, as Nayax Australia leads the market in payment solutions, we felt it's a natural partnership."

Reis & Irvy's Australia will deploy as many as 100 new robots across the country in the next year, he reported, all fitted with Nayax devices. "We value the capabilities Nayax's VPOS Touch card readers will bring to our franchisees, and are excited to see how their consumer engagement tools will help us with customer satisfaction," Bingham said.

"Nayax is delighted to partner with Reis & Irvy's," observed Dylan Winik, Nayax Australia's managing director. "We are excited by their futuristic approach to frozen treats vending and believe their choosing Nayax shows their understanding of the Australian landscape, where cashless payment is the norm for most customers.

"Nayax will enable Reis & Irvy's to deliver a seamless purchasing experience to Australian consumers, and help their business succeed in the Australian market," Winik predicted.

Reis & Irvy now has franchise operations in Australia, Canada and the Sultanate of Oman in addition to the United States. Its robotic soft-serve vender, manufactured by Stoelting (Kiel, WI), can offer seven different flavors of frozen yogurt, ice cream, sorbets and gelatos and as many as six topping choices, delivered within 60 seconds.

Nayax offers complete cashless solution including telemetry and management suite, to unattended automatic machines. Nayax's features help operators improve their day-to-day operations and long-term planning, and their marketing tools assist operators in transforming unattended machines into 24/7 retail stores with consumer engagement and IoT activities.
