Registration Opens For 2019 China Vending/Self-Service Exposition

SHANGHAI, China —  The organizers of the 2019 China International Self-service, Kiosk and Vending Show (CVS) report that online registration is now open for the event. Next year’s CVS, the 16th for the steadily-expanding exposition, is scheduled for the Shanghai New International Expo Center from April 26 through 28, 2019. The 2019 event will include the third staging of the Smart Retail Arena, showcasing the latest developments in retail automation including “smart” stores, new intelligent freezers, the latest applications technology and a host of related products and supply-chain services.

CVS is organized by UBM Sinoexpo, which reports strong interest in the show. With five months to go until opening day, more than 80% of the vending exhibit area has been booked, and more than 25,000 visitors are expected to attend. Exhibits will include self-service terminals and solutions, vending systems, kiosks, currency identification technology, self-service printing equipment, mobile payment terminal equipment, smart card readers and vending machine-related accessories and services.

According to UBM Sinoexpo sales and marketing consultant Shuree Shen, “We are expecting an even larger showcase of premium brands at our forthcoming event, as well as an exciting new and immersive experience at our new Smart Retail Arena. After gathering feedback, we know that our visitors value the opportunity to explore new technology and want to be inspired.”

CVS, one of the trade fairs administered by UBM Sinoexpo under its Hotel Plus brand, will feature a lively round of business sessions, idea exchanges and networking opportunities. More than 60 industry speakers will address concurrent educational events, which will include the Shanghai International Smart Retailing Summit, the Shanghai Global Self - Service Kiosk Industry Summit and the Shanghai International Smart Retailing Operations Conference.

The 2019 convention is supported by the China Vending Association, the Commerce Association for General Merchandise and a number of overseas trade groups including the National Automatic Merchandising Association (Chicago, IL) and the Japan Vending Machine Manufacturers Association (Tokyo).
