The AMOA-National Dart Association says its tournaments award more winners than any other tournament and are classified to allow players of all skill levels to compete with others of similar skill.

INDIANAPOLIS -- With a successful first year behind it, the AMOA-National Dart Association said it will again host a series of three regional tournaments, played on electronic soft-tip dartboards, across the United States beginning fall 2014.

The 2014 regional events will be held in the following locations:

» Denver, CO. | Sept. 19-21

» Columbus, OH | Oct. 24-26

» Rochester, MN | Dec. 12-14

NDA tournaments are classified by skill rating, matching players of similar skill. The regionals provide a fun and affordable way for NDA players to gain competition experience and get local value out of their NDA-sanctioned statuses. With over 300 winners last year at three regional tournaments, players have a great chance of winning no matter what level they play, NDA said.

The regional tournaments will be open to any NDA-sanctioned player with 48 games played for a NDA operator in the qualifying period. Each competition will feature Open Singles 501, Open Singles Cricket, Open Doubles Cricket, Open Doubles '01 and Mixed Triples Combo.

The Colorado tournament will be held at the Longmont Moose Lodge with discounted hotel accommodations nearby. Ohio's will be held at the Fort Rapids Resort featuring large rooms and an indoor waterpark. Players could bring their families for a weekend away, full of fun and darts., In Minnesota, the tournament location will be announced in the coming weeks with discounted hotel accommodations nearby.

There are no geographic restrictions to participate in the tournaments. NDA-sanctioned players who meet the eligibility requirements from across the world are invited to participate. Players may sign up through their operator.

Operators can visit for qualification information. Players should contact their operators to get qualified and registered for the tournaments. All regional tournaments lead up to Team Dart, an international tournament, which will be held May 1 to 9 at Bally's Las Vegas.
