SKOKIE, IL — Raw Thrills has announced that it will spotlight three new games at the upcoming International Association of Parks & Attractions Expo.

Raw Thrills' arcade implementation of Microsoft's popular Xbox game "Halo: Fireteam Raven" attracted considerable attention when it was introduced earlier this year as a four-player attraction.

The game, developed in cooperation with Microsoft and game designer 343 Industries, follows the story line of the original "Halo: Combat Evolved" from a different perspective: that of the Orbital Drop Shock Troops assigned to Fireteam Raven.  The company will exhibit this piece and introduce a two-player companion model at the Attractions Expo. The smaller version is described as "similar in storyline but with a smaller footprint which is great for smaller locations or locations that want to squeeze in more games."

Also on display at IAAPA will be another game that's making the jump from app store to gameroom: slither.io is a massively multiplayer videogame in which the player controls a legless wormlike creature that lives on pellets. It forages for these in the game's landscape, and also can procure them from other similar beasts. As the player's apodal avatar consumes pellets, it grows in length, with the goal of becoming the longest creature on the server. Developed for iOS and Android devices, slither.io also is available through Web browsers, and soon in arcades, too.

Rounding out the Raw Thrills Attractions Expo exhibit will be a new iteration of an old favorite rider game with a new twist. Super Bikes 3 has a brand-new cabinet featuring eight fierce bikes, five killer tracks and eight unique riders. As many as eight Super Bike 3 cabinets can be linked together, multiplying the entertainment.

Raw Thrills was founded in 2001 to develop the finest arcade videogame entertainment. It's led by veteran game designer Eugene Jarvis, whose credits include classic titles like Defender, Robotron: 2084, and the Cruis'n series of adventure driving games.

In 2006, Raw Thrills added the renowned game development studio Play Mechanix Inc. to establish an arcade game powerhouse. Founded in 1995 by former Midway designer George Petro, the famed Play Mechanix design team created the Big Buck Hunter series.
