Pheonix printer

MESA, AZ -- Pyramid Technologies Inc. reports an enthusiastic industry response to its new Phoenix thermal printer, which was introduced late this summer. The versatile Phoenix "plug and play" printer is DIP switch configurable, flash memory upgradeable and customizable for specific needs, as are all PTI products.

Supplied with USB/ESC-POS, Pot-O-Gold and pulse interfaces (the latter to adapt a coin hopper game to a printer system), the new Phoenix features a long-life print head and integral paper cutter that permits full or partial cuts. It uses standard 58mm. thermal paper rolls with automated paper loading, and has an onboard real-time clock enabling application of a time/date stamp to the document. The printer allows for user-customized coupons and tickets, and is designed for easy panel mounting.

Pyramid Technologies focuses on vending, amusement and gaming solutions. Its product lines, which include the Apex 7000 and 5000, Curve and Trilogy series banknote validators, are manufactured in the U.S. The company has grown from a small shop into an international operation with sales to over 95 countries.
