MALVERN, PA -- USA Technologies Inc. said it will upgrade hundreds of Premier Food Service's machines to its ePort Connect cashless payment system. The move will enable PFS, a Canteen franchise based Wichita, KS, to track the acceptance of cash, credit and debit cards and contactless payments, including mobile wallet payments such as Android Pay and Apple Pay.

PFS has also worked with USAT to connect more than 300 micromarket kiosks from Vendors Exchange International Inc. with a consumer engagement and loyalty program. The customized PFS version of USAT's More loyalty program (branded to consumers as the Premier Market Card) has thousands of members and provides a variety of benefits to consumers, according to USAT.

"As personalization becomes more common in the marketplace, we wanted to be one step ahead of the trend with customer loyalty and reward programs being at the center of our go-to-market strategy," said PFS chief operations officer Gary Kurth.

PFS was established in 1993 and became a Canteen franchise in 2012.
