ORLANDO, FL — Industry veteran Gary Balaban reports that Pipeline Games has teamed up with A&A Global Industries (Baltimore, MD) to introduce a novel electronic bulk vending machine. It will be unveiled at the upcoming International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions Expo, which opens here on November 18.

“This is exactly what the bulk vending industry has been waiting for,” said Balaban. “We at Pipeline Games have designed this machine from the ground up, based on extensive feedback from all segments of the bulk vending business.”

Bulk vending in the United States has lagged behind the rest of the world because of this country’s inability to replace the dollar bill with a circulating coin. “Most people just don’t have coins in their pockets any more,” he pointed out. “This fact has really kept higher-dollar items from being vended through traditional bulk vending machines.

“Now items in 1- , 2- and even 3-in. capsules can be easily vended.,” Balaban explained. “With this new electronic bulk vending machine, now operators can vend  products up to $99.95 from each one of the five compartments. This opens up a new world of items that until now just could not be even imagined to be vendible.” Each compartment is independent and can be priced separately.

“Payment methods are now available to make this machine to be as easy and convenient as possible to allow the customer to make a purchase,” Balaban observed. The machine comes with a standard coin validator; “a bill acceptor and – the best part – a Credit Card reader can be added also,” he added.

Pipeline Games will exhibit the new machine with live credit card and bill acceptor demos during the  IAAPA 2019 Expo in A&A Global’s booth #403 at the Orange County Convention Center here  from November 18 through 22.
