RICHMOND, VA -- Performance Food Group Co. has promoted Patrick Hagerty to executive vice-president of PFG and president and chief executive of Vistar, the nation’s largest distributor of products to the vending industry. He previously was senior vice-president of PFG and president and chief executive of Vistar.

Haggerty joined Vistar as vice-president of merchandising in 1994 before being named vice-president and chief operating officer of Vistar. Earlier in his career, Hagerty was director of general merchandise for Cub Foods.

Vending Times featured Hagerty in a Q&A in the April 2017 issue.

“Pat has done a tremendous job growing our Vistar business, especially expanding our presence in the hospitality and retail distribution channels,” said PFG president and chief executive George Holm. “Vistar has been delivering strong financial results and much of the credit goes to Pat and his team. Thanks to Pat’s leadership, they’ve strengthened their procurement efforts and had great success controlling their operating expenses.”
