PayLab's DexLink Vending Management System Is Available For Android

PayLab DexLink Android, vending management system, VMS CALGARY, AB -- DexLink from Canada's PayLab is now available as a free download on the Google Play Store. The technology, according to PayLab, will enable vending operators to download DEX files in seconds with an Android tablet or phone and off-the-shelf cable.

DexLink works with any vending machine compatible with standard DEX protocols and is supported by its own cloud-based vending management system. Operators can also integrate DexLink with existing VMS packages using the industry's Vending Data Interchange standard.

DexLink is designed to help operators gain insight into their businesses while eliminating the need for Bluetooth or telemetry hardware. Sales, cash, driver activity and alerts can all be tracked through the app by simply plugging in and hitting "start." Data is uploaded automatically as soon as the tablet has Internet access, with no docking or manual uploads necessary.

In order to move files off of a phone or tablet, the user needs a DexLink VMS account, which they create at Users need an Android phone or tablet running Android 4.0 or newer and it must support USB on-the-go. Dexlink also requires a DEX cable, along with an RS232 to standard USB cable and a standard USB to micro USB cable.
