SAN ANTONIO, TX -- Parlevel Systems said it has added a calorie-disclosure tool to its vending management system. It can help vending operators to comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration's calorie-disclosure requirements that go into effect on Dec. 1.

Operators can select any machine inside their Parlevel VMS and print out a sheet with product name, weight and calorie count to display on their machines. The printable calorie-disclosure sheet adheres to all standards in font, type size and information disclosed.

"One of Parlevel's primary commitments is to help our customers keep up with changing laws and ease the transition to new ones," said Parlevel Systems chief information officer Rafa Barroso. "These new features will enable operators to adhere to the standard, avoid fines, and service health-conscious customers better than ever."

Parlevel's planograms also feature product optimization tools and reports.
