POMPANO BEACH, FL -- Maria Miniaci has been named president of Paramount Refreshment Solutions. She has served with the company for more than seven years, working in all its executive positions including key account management, procurement and managing customer service. Most recently, she was chief operating officer, working closely with her father, Albert Miniaci.

"I am very excited to have Maria representing the third generation of our family to oversee Paramount Cos." the senior Miniaci said, "and I look forward to continuing to work very closely with her. In the coming year, we will be looking for other opportunities to grow our business."

In 2017, Maria was responsible for spinning off PRS's hospitality division to form a new entity, Paramount Food and Beverage, LLC, which exclusively services restaurants, hotels and country clubs. PFBI also has a subsidiary in Orlando, FL, which operates as Sovereign Coffee and Tea LLC. The day-to-day operation is overseen by Howard Queen as  president and operating partner.

Maria also will play an active role in Paramount Coffee Services of New Jersey LLC, a subsidiary of PRS. That company provides office coffee services in the northeast, serving the tri-state area and beyond. She will continue to work closely with PCSNJ president Scott Guardino.

"I'm honored to have the opportunity to take on this role," Maria said, "and I am looking forward to working with our talented team."

Paramount noted that, at 33, Maria will be one of the few women of her generation serving as president in the coffee distribution industry while also supervising its subsidiary companies. "As a little girl working in the warehouse and in administration during summers throughout high school and college, this was always a dream of mine," the new president said. "I am very thankful to have been working next to my father and uncle over the years as mentors in making that dream a reality."
