CHICAGO -- National Automatic Merchandising Association member communities director Pam Gilbert is leaving the organization effective July 17 after more than two decades with the association.

“It is always sad to lose a dedicated, hardworking, long-term team member,” said NAMA membership director Judy Gawczynski. “Since joining NAMA in 1993, Pam has been a valuable and respected member of our team.”

Gilbert began her career with NAMA in 1993 as secretary to the senior vice-president of government affairs. Over the decades, she was promoted to assistant, coordinator, manager, senior manager, and finally, director of member communities, where she oversaw and managed several state councils and special interest groups.

“After almost 26 years at NAMA, it's time to step down,” Gilbert said. “This is not an easy decision and I will truly miss my many friends in the industry.”
