Organizers Ready 14th VendExpo, 5th WRS5 In Moscow, March 25-27

MOSCOW, Russia -- The organizers of the 2020 VendExpo here report that the vending market in Russia continues to show “positive dynamics,” with European Vending Association figures listing Russia seventh in vending market size in terms of the number of vending machines deployed in European nations. Annual vending market revenue in Russia amounted to 52.9 billion rubles in 2018, 3.5% higher than the previous year. (At this writing, $1 U.S.= 62 rubles.)

According to EMTG Co., which manages VendExpo, the event has tracked this favorable market dynamic. For example, in 2019, the exhibition grew by 25% and the number of visitors increased by 30%.

The upcoming event, which consists of the VendExpo vending equipment and product show and the World Retail Smart Solutions and Self-service Systems Exhibition (WRS5) promises to continue this trend in terms of participants and visitors, and will present a business program commensurate with this growth. The event is scheduled for March 25 through 27 at the Moscow Expocentre.

Various types of vending machines, components, consumables, ingredients, telemetry systems and software, payment solutions, self-service systems for retail and services and more will be presented at the exhibition. Well-known manufacturers, distributors and service providers including Unicum, Vavilon (Babylon) vending group, Siba vending, Rheavendors East, Evoca Group, IST, Kladovaya Zdoroviya, Innovative Technology, PTA, Formacia, Gumballs, Style ABC, GC Rhino, FAS, Assorty and many other companies have confirmed their participation in the exhibition. Among new participants are Topvending, a distributor of mechanical vending machines and telecommunications service provider Sim2M.

During the exhibition, a business forum will be held at which current hot topics in the vending and self-service systems industry will be discussed.

New this year is an international competition, VASA (Vending and Automated Services Award), designed to celebrate innovative achievements in vending and self-service systems. Both Russian and international companies will compete.

The upcoming event will be the 14th annual VendExpo, which has become a gathering-point for the vending community and representatives of the self-service sector in Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States and Eastern Europe, and the fifth WRS5 self-service trade fair. The event’s organizer is EMTG (Exhibition Management Technology Group), and the exhibition is held under the patronage of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, with the support of Opora Russia, the Russian non-governmental organization for small and medium business.
