LATHAM, NY -- The New York State Automatic Vending Association has postponed its board and membership meeting from Feb. 2 to March 2. The rescheduling, the second for this planned meeting, was made necessary by a winter storm forecast for the Capital District.

Planned for the Century House Restaurant & Hotel (Latham, NY, north of Albany), the event will begin with an NYSAVA board meeting at 3 p.m. The general session gets under way at 5 p.m. with a reception and networking event, followed by a dinner and general membership meeting from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Pam Gilbert, senior manager of government affairs in the National Automatic Merchandising Association's eastern office in Arlington, VA, requests that anyone registered for the February date who will be unable to attend the rescheduled event advise her of this inability. All registration fees paid will be refunded. Those who have not yet registered, or who would like to add another registrant, are invited to do so. She can be emailed at, or telephoned at (571) 346-1901.

The meeting will be an opportunity to meet with brokers and manufacturers to find out about new products, she observed.
