ROCKAWAY, NJ -- Full Service Vending, a division of the Full Service Foods Group, announced that it has purchased the deed to a 12-acre property with three buildings in Rockaway, NJ, located in Morris County. The company said it plans to relocate its entire New Jersey operation to the facility in March, once the construction of a 17-slot loading dock is complete.

The new location will serve as the company's headquarters and machine refurbishing preparation center, as well as its New Jersey operating base.

FSV said it plans to install solar panels and energy-efficient lighting and heating. Additionally, it will use recycled materials wherever possible as part of its "green" initiative. The smallest building will be leased as an income property for the next several years until needed for future growth.

The company's earlier plan to purchase land in Denville, NJ, fell through last year due to environmental issues.

"We have been busting at the seams for the last three years," explained FSV president Moti Almakias said. "This new facility will allow us to operate more efficiently and comfortably since the additional loading dock space with shave close to an hour off of each driver's day allowing for greater productivity."

Full Service Vending is one of five divisions of the Full Service Foods Group along with Coffee Express, Café on the Go, Milk Express and Arctic Chill Ice Cream. Founded in 1955, the company serves New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Connecticut. Almakias has been at the helm since 1993.
