AMI NGX CURVE DIGITAL JUKEBOX

PHILADELPHIA -- AMI Entertainment Network has launched its latest digital downloading jukebox. The NGX Curve combines a compact, wall-mounted design with powerful performance and a wide range of revenue-generating features, including music video and digital signage, with novel, eye-catching style.

The Curve’s arc frame offers an “eye-popping” appearance, enlivened by programmable perimeter lighting and a center equalizer that moves to the beat of the music. The result is a mesmerizing lightshow designed to delight and entertain patrons. The dual-screen display delivers an immersive audiovisual experience, enhanced by AMI’s exclusive music video feature. The wallmounted machine is AMI’s most compact music video jukebox to date, providing more options for its in-venue placement. It brings an elevated level of aesthetics and non-stop entertainment to locations. It began shipping in mid-October.

The NGX Curve’s illuminated frame is engineered to exert a powerful eye-drawing effect. The upper and lower screens provide plenty of video entertainment, while the “dancing” graphic equalizer brings the whole package together. Its petite frame -- just 2” taller than AMI’s popular NGX Mini 2 jukebox -- will fit any wall, making it well-suited for venues with limited wall space. Wherever it’s placed, the Curve will pop as a bar décor centerpiece. The attention-getting display created by the arc frame, appealing lightshow and music video capability brings the fun to patrons and keeps them engaged.

The Curve was created with the modern patron in mind. It comes with built-in music video playback, exclusive to AMI. Today’s customers have grown up in the era of music video, and love the ability to upgrade to video on their favorite songs. This has led to increased revenue for AMI’s music video jukeboxes.

The music video on-demand (MVOD) feature allows access to the full library of more than 25,000 music videos, with new ones added weekly. The upper screen keeps videos going, while the lower touchscreen invites patrons to make music and video selections. Music video and digital signage output can be expanded to connected TVs by use of an HDMI splitter.

Like all AMI jukeboxes, the Curve provides access to the AMI Digital Jukebox Network. Featuring whole albums and millions of songs across every genre, AMI’s music library has something to offer everyone. Patrons can select music through the juke’s smart search interface or by using the AMI Music app. The app was recently redesigned and relaunched with a new look and added features. According to the manufacturer, it has been shown to increase revenue at AMI jukebox locations by as much as 55%.

The Curve also comes with AMI’s digital signage platform, Ad Manager. This tool allows venue staff and operators to quickly and easily create professional ads to display on the jukebox screens and connected TVs. It comes with thousands of pre-made templates, and allows operators to upload their own images. Customizing text, scheduling and running ads can be done in just a few clicks. This makes it easy to promote specials, events, and more.
