Nayax Names Sammy Yahiaoui Chief Revenue Officer

TEL AVIV, Israel -- Nayax has appointed Sammy Yahiaoui chief revenue officer. In his new post, he will be responsible for all Nayax revenue-producing units, working to drive growth and sales across the company. He will report to chief executive and cofounder Yair Nechmad.

Yahiaoui comes to Nayax from Telit Communications Plc, most recently serving as global senior vice-president of sales for its Business Line Services. As cofounder of that business unit, he is credited with realizing exponential growth over a five-year period as well as cultivating the unit to become a full-scale business line. In previous roles at KPN Netherlands and CGI Netherlands, Yahiaoui was responsible for enterprise-named key accounts.

“Nayax’s cashless payment technology is leading the market in innovation,” Yahiaoui said. “As the company expands into new unattended and self-service sectors, and invests in the creation of new business units, Nayax has significant plans in place for growth and I’m eager to be able to contribute to this trajectory. Having watched Nayax’s explosive evolution over the past few years during my tenure at Telit, it is now exciting to be able to be a part of this talented team.”

“As a global company, Nayax has been making great strides in capturing key accounts across country borders,” Nayax’s Nechmad reported. “Sammy’s depth of experience in developing these relationships among complex international organizations will enable us to capitalize on our positioning in the marketplace. We look forward to learning from him and sharing in his successes.”

Nayax offers a complete cashless solution, including telemetry, management suite and consumer-engagement tools, for unattended retail and self-service markets. The features of its systems are designed to help operators improve their day-to-day operations and longterm planning, and their marketing tools assist in transforming unattended machines into round-the-clock retail stores that support consumer engagement and IoT activities. Nayax’s goal as a global company is to provide all payment methods available in each region it serves, ensuring that local consumers can pay with their preferred method, wherever they are.
