SINGAPORE -- Nayax reports that it has joined forces with First Data Singapore to make its services available to more Southeast Asian nations. This service extension, which follows a successful partnership in Australia , has begun with Singapore.

According to Nayax, based in Tel Aviv, Israel, the collaboration allows it to expand in the Asian market by providing operators with enhanced service and advanced payment technologies.

Nayax has established a presence in Singapore's vending machine, photobooth, electronic locker and kiddie ride markets. It now plans to deploy its terminals in a variety of new automatic retail segments across the island country. The partnership with First Data will provide consumers the ability to pay with credit and debit cards, as well as mobile wallets, at machines equipped with Nayax card readers. Additional alternative payment methods will be added to the card readers in the near future, offering consumers even greater flexibility.

For operators, Nayax can also help increase business efficiency with the use of telemetry, which allows for continuous connectivity for remote device monitoring and management. Nayax's Management Suite offers inventory management, sales reporting, real-time alerts and business intelligence capabilities.

"Nayax believes that a cashless society starts with micropayments," said Nayax Asian regional manager Omri Peled. "In the last few years the Singaporean government has been pushing for more cashless innovation. However, only recently has this begun to be visible, with more QR payment schemes and credit card payments in public transportation. Nayax's solutions will also be part of this change, offering open payment options at automatic machines and allowing consumers in Singapore to pay with their preferred payment method."

Nayax offers a complete cashless solution including telemetry, a management suite and customer- engagement tools, to the unattended retail and self-serve markets. As a global company, Nayax's goal is to provide all payment methods in each region, ensuring that local consumers can pay with their preferred payment method.
