National ATM Council Sets Capitol Hill Advocacy Event For July 23-24

JACKSONVILLE, FL -- The National ATM Council is planning its third annual DC Fly-In, a forum for the independent retail automated teller machine industry to help educate Congress about the important role played by ATMs in the United States economy. The Fly-In is scheduled for July 23 and 24, 2019.

Council executive director Bruce Renard urges everyone involved in the retail ATM industry to participate. “Our voice is strong, and our issues are vital,” he said. “Make a difference for your business and your industry. We need your voice in our nation’s capital this July: it really matters.”

The meeting gets under way on Tuesday, July 23, with a working lunch and preparation for the Capitol Hill visits from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Meetings with members of the U.S. Senate Banking and the House Financial Service committees will follow. A group dinner at 7 p.m. will cap the day’s activities.

On Wednesday, July 24, the agenda starts with a recap and briefing for the second day’s meetings at 8 a.m., accompanied by a continental breakfast. Meetings with legislators and their staffs resume at 9 a.m. and continue until 3 p.m.
