CHICAGO -- Health and safety experts from the National Automatic Merchandising Association will hold a webinar on Wednesday, June 29, to provide guidance and current recommendations for food safety compliance in micromarkets. The webinar will begin at 1 p.m. CDT.

The guidance, released by the Conference for Food Protection, is intended to help both regulatory authorities and the food industry as they navigate the review, approval and operation of unattended food establishments.

The speakers will be Larry Eils, NAMA's health and safety knowledge source partner, and NAMA senior director of government affairs Sandra Larson. The subject matter covers requirements and protocols for video surveillance, signage, maintenance, market location and packaging.

The webinar will also include a digital download of NAMA's Food and Safety Compliance Guide.
