NAMA Invites Nominations For 2017 Coffee Legend Recognition

CHICAGO -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association said it is accepting nominations for this year's Coffee Legend Award. The honor recognizes "an individual who is a pioneer, an innovator, a leader and a visionary in the coffee service industry," NAMA explained. The award will be presented during the upcoming Coffee, Tea & Water conference.

Candidates must have a minimum 10 years of service to the coffee industry. He or she must have been recognized by his or her peers for exemplary business practices, for engaging in local charities or civic activities, or for support of the coffee industry, NAMA said. They must have been, or must currently be, actively involved in NAMA, one or several state councils, and other industry groups. Nominees and their nominators must be NAMA members.

Moreover, nominees will have contributed to promoting the coffee service industry through leading educational workshops, publishing articles in trade magazines or otherwise contributing to OCS professionalism.

NAMA's 2017 Coffee, Tea & Water conference will take place at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center in Grapevine, TX -- adjacent to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport -- from Nov. 6 through 8.
