CHICAGO -- Industry members can enjoy networking with their colleagues while emphasizing the value of convenience services to the U.S. economy by participating in the upcoming National Automatic Merchandising Association Fly-In, according to NAMA Government Affairs committee chairman Larry Atnip.

“The agenda this year is greatly enhanced with a day-long Advocacy Summit preceding the value-added sessions on the Hill,” said Atnip, who is vice-president of Atnip Co. (Fullerton, CA) and president of Premier Broker Partners (Turnersville, NJ). “Throughout the year, as you work with local and state elected officials, the Advocacy Summit provides a broad perspective that is helpful in planning efforts to support your agenda.”

The event is set for Washington, DC, from July 15 through 17; The Fairmont, in Washington’s historic Georgetown neighborhood, is the headquarters hotel for the event. Registration for the Fly-In is free for NAMA members; family members and colleagues are invited to participate.

“With more information to follow, we look forward to welcoming as many participants as possible to join our convenience services colleagues to Washington, DC,” Atnip said. “NAMA Fly-in participants will have a very positive experience and, together, we can do much more work, with greater meaning and benefit for all.”

Information on the event, NAMA’s fifth, is available at www.namaflyin.org
