WASHINGTON, DC -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association announced enhanced networking opportunities and education as participation for its annual legislative Fly-In on Capitol Hill reached 260 people. The event is set for July 24 and 25 at the Fairmont Hotel.

On Tuesday, July 24 at 2 p.m. at the Fairmont, the Food and Drug Administration’s Dr. Robin McKinnon will lead a discussion addressing questions on calorie disclosure, FDA’s nutrition innovation strategy, and other areas of impact to the industry.

To help guide the session’s Q and A, NAMA is asking industry members to email questions to NAMA’s Marilyn Dent at mdent@namanow.org.

Beginning at 4 p.m., NAMA’s Women in the Industry (WIN) group will co-host a reception, also at the Fairmont, featuring the Women’s Foodservice Forum, along with female leaders from throughout the industry.  Together, they will address key issues facing women in the workplace today, sharing professional development and best practices.

Registration for the Fly-In is free for NAMA members; family members and colleagues.
